EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Initiating at $81.57 — 2.5% half position (30 shares). Will build to full on confirmed price action.
Net revenue retention above 120% means the installed base grows ARR organically — compounding without new customer acquisition cost.
Cloud migration is mid-cycle: tens of thousands of legacy Data Center customers still to transition, each at higher ARR per seat.
Atlassian Intelligence and Rovo represent unpriced AI optionality — positioned at the centre of enterprise software development workflows.
Path to $120+ on 12-18 month view as cloud migration accelerates and AI platform contribution to ARR becomes visible.

Investment Thesis
Atlassian is the world's leading enterprise collaboration and software development platform. Jira, Confluence, and Trello are deeply embedded across engineering and product teams at more than 300,000 organisations globally — a moat that compounds with every passing quarter as workflow dependencies deepen.
We are initiating a half position at $81.57. The stock is trading significantly below its peak valuations as the market has repriced high-multiple SaaS indiscriminately — creating an attractive entry into a capital-light, high-retention, recurring revenue business at a meaningful discount to intrinsic value.
Why Now
The shift from server to cloud is still mid-cycle. Atlassian's cloud migration tailwind has years of runway: tens of thousands of customers on legacy Data Center and Server deployments still need to transition, each migration locking in higher ARR per seat and improved unit economics. Cloud now represents the majority of revenue, but the migration cycle is far from complete.
Net revenue retention above 120% means the existing customer base grows revenue organically — every dollar of ARR expands without requiring new customer acquisition. With $4B+ ARR and a path to $10B, Atlassian is a rare business where growth is structurally embedded in the installed base.
Atlassian Intelligence: The AI Optionality
Atlassian Intelligence — the AI layer now embedded across Jira, Confluence, and Rovo — is a meaningful optionality that the market is not pricing correctly. Rovo, the enterprise AI agent and search product, is positioned to become the operating system for AI-assisted software development. As enterprise AI adoption accelerates, Atlassian is among the most natural beneficiaries given its position at the centre of how engineering teams work.
Valuation
At $81.57, TEAM trades at a significant discount to its historical EV/Revenue multiples. The market is pricing in near-term margin compression from continued investment in cloud infrastructure and AI, while undervaluing the long-duration earnings power of a deeply embedded SaaS platform with 120%+ NRR. We see a path to $120+ on a 12-18 month view as cloud migration revenue accelerates and Rovo begins contributing to ARR.
Position Sizing & Risk
Initiating with a 2.5% half position (30 shares at $81.57). We will build to a full 5% position on confirmed price action above the 50-day EMA. Key risks: macro slowdown reducing enterprise software spend, competitive pressure from GitHub/Microsoft in developer tooling, and execution risk on the Rovo AI platform ramp.
